Communities Kickin’ Cancer — Thank You to All!

Happy Sunday - the day after the Communities Kickin' Cancer event. The day was warm and plentiful with lots of soccer happenings and plenty of festivities to keep everyone entertained such as Syracuse Silver Knights sharing their foot skills with anyone who wanted to learn a trick or two, a photobooth to capture the day with a friend, the BEST milkshakes by the Eastern Region 4H group, and lots of great food from Orchard Vali to boot! The JV Boys ended with a double overtime and a score of 0-0; the JV Girls ended with Tully winning 6-0; the Varsity Girls ended with Tully 6.0 and the Varsity Boys ended with Fabius-Pompey 2-1 with a victory and the rights to the Rt. 80 Cup once again this year. This did not happen without a very aggressive game from both sides. All in all many great soccer games were witnessed and the crowd was fantastic. THANK YOU to the many many volunteers that signed up or stop by to lend a hand throughout the day. We sincerely appreciate it. We will be wrapping up the bottom line proceeds to Upstate Cancer Center and will present a check soon and will be reporting back very soon. Stay tuned for more details. Have a great week. ...
